Resident Advisory Group
Focus
The purpose of the Resident Advisory Group is to provide a resident perspective for faculty development initiatives. Residents who are interested in teaching are encouraged to join to guide the development of programs and resources related to teaching faculty and residents.
Role
Residents have an opportunity to guide the development of teaching resources and strategies through:
- Attending meetings that will take place on an as-needed basis to a maximum of 3 per year.
- Provide consultation via email.
- Lead projects and become champions in their department.
- Provide a resident perspective on various councils

Faculty Development Interest Group
Focus
Faculty in the Faculty of Medicine who have an interest in contributing to faculty development in various ways such as developing teaching materials, facilitating sessions, and being involved in faculty development initiatives such as facilitation of topical subjects in equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Role
Faculty contribute to faculty development initiatives and the Office of Faculty Development in turn will support them with training and resources.
